Disclosure of Personal Information
Red Kite Fitness and Nutrition collects information in several ways. Information is collected as follows: when you submit your details in to the ‘contact’ form on the website; when you contact us directly to enquire about services; when you complete and submit the Health Questionnaire and/or other information-gathering paperwork upon first consultation with Red Kite Fitness and Nutrition; and/or when you use our services. The information collected will vary depending on which of the above means of communication are used. We will never disclose personal details to anyone else without your consent. Details are only held for as long as is necessary to fulfil the service request.
Visitors to this web site
When someone visits this website we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is processed in a way which does not identify anyone. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.
How do you store, use, share and disclose your site visitors personal information?
Red Kite Fitness and Nutrition is hosted on the WordPress platform. WordPress provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through the hosting provider PicaWeb data storage, databases and the general Picaweb applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
Paper copies of health questionnaires or any other forms that you have completed are treated as confidential documents and are filed securely.
Access to personal information
Individuals can find out if we hold any personal information by making a ‘subject access request’ under the General Data Protection Regulations. If we do hold information about you we will:
• give you a description of it;
• tell you why we are holding it;
• tell you who it could be disclosed to; and
• let you have a copy of the information in an intelligible form.
